Members of the ZEE network have responded to this public consultation, drawing on their specialist knowledge and up-to-date research evidence
One of the aims of the Zero Emissions Enterprise (ZEE) network will be to provide research-based insights and expertise in response to consultations and calls for evidence. We have recently submitted our first formal response to an independent review of the UK government’s approach to delivering its net zero target, commissioned by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Our call to members of the ZEE network attracted a range of written contributions and other inputs, which we organised around the most relevant review questions. The collated document offers a number of observations and recommendations, which draw on research evidence generated by our contributors. Several network members also submitted independent responses to the public consultation via their own institutions – we hope to draw on this rich variety of insights in our future discussions.
